Fourteen Chinese Candidates Become CCMs; The Business Management Institute (BMI) China, a joint venture executive education program between Club Managers Association of China, Club Managers Association of America and Sun Yat Sen University announced this week that 14 candidates from China succesfully passed the Certified Club Manager (CCM) Examination on October 8th, 2010 at Nansha Golf Club, Guangzhou. The BMI China program began in October, 2007 and aims to provide opportunities to further Chinese Club Managers’ education and enhance their professional performance. U.S. Golf Manufacturers Anti-Counterfeiting Working Group Announces Beijing Seizure and Arrest; The anti-counterfeiting group announced that on September 14th Chinese Public Security Bureau officers raided Beijing's Yashow market and seized 7,747 counterfeit golf clubs, balls, shoes, hats, gloves, bags, caps and other accessories. It was determined that the value of the seized clubs and other counterfeit equipment was $850,746 (5,738,340 RMB) based upon the retail price of authentic goods.
